History of Smith Farm: (Created by your host) The Smith farm was built in the 1840’s and encompassed over 100 acres bordering the nearby Saco River. The farmland is now a community of 10 estate size lots. In the early days, Sokokis Indians migrated up to this area and camped and fished along the Saco river during the summers. Smith farm was in the Smith family for many generations.
